One electronically tested 14KT rose gold lady's hand made antique fashion ring with a tapered shank with a polished finish. The ring is Circa 1837-1901, the Victorian period. The ring is likely from the 1860's. The ring has a natural "Operculum" shell, polished to imitate an "Evil Eye" charm. An Operculum shell is the lower cover of a salt water snail. The ring top measures 21.32 mm X 18.88 mm. The ring shank measures 2.65 mm at the attatchment point to the ring top, and tapers to 1.74 mm at the bottom. The ring is size 8 1/2. Condition is excellent.
