One stamped & tested 15KT yellow and rose gold combination cast & assembled antique memorial locket pin with a textured finish. The "Memorial" locket-pin measures 21.05 mm X 14.4 mm, The cast Yellow gold body of the locket has cast in scroll and leaf detailing, The braided hair is secured behind a rock crystal lens within a cast Yellow gold frame. The back of the piece is hand engraved "In Memory of Helen. 11 Nov. 1918". The piece has a Rose gold pin secured by a simple "C" style clasp, lending to an earlier dating in the Victorian Period, 1837-1910. 15Kt gold was used in the British Empire, but went out of use after 1931. Identified with markings of "15Ct". Condition is excellent.
