This breathtaking Estate Retro Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring is a vintage dream come true! Circa 1935-1950's, this ring will make your heart skip a beat with its 0.65 ctw G-J/VS1-SI1 diamonds. And if size 8 isn't quite the right fit, you can easily size it up or down. Now, that's something to say 'I do' to!
One stamped & tested platinum lady's cast antique diamond engagement ring with a cathedral shank with a high polish finish. The Engagement Ring is Circa 1935-1950's, the Retro period. The ring is hand engraved on the inside with initials but they are worn and cannot be made out. The center Diamond is set in a square carved, 4-prong Fish Tail mounting. The upswept cathedral shoulders each have 2 Single cut Diamonds, in bead settings. The center setting measures 5.85 mm X 5.66 mm. The shoulders measure 3.45 mm with the shank tapering to 1.07 mm at the bottom. The ring is size 8. Identified with markings of "10% IRID PLAT". Condition is excellent.
