One stamped & tested 18KT yellow gold lady's combination cast & assembled gemstone and diamond Dragonfly brooch with a enameled finish. The brooch is designed as a Dragonfly74.56 mm across the wings and 51.88 mm long. The wings have Plique-a-jour enameling, shaded from Blues, to Greens, to Yellows, and Rose colors.across the length of the pieces. The wings also have Silver trim pieces applied to the leading edges, set with Round Brilliant cut Diamonds. The eyes of the Dragonfly are Round cut Rubies. The body is made up of 8 Oval cut Blue Sapphires set in bezel mountings with Mille grain detailing in their edges, the last 6 are articulated allowing them to move side to side, when the brooch is worn. The Rubies and Sapphires are assumed to be heat treated. The pin has a "Slide" closure which is marked 750. Identified with markings of "750". Condition is like new.
