Estate 14K R Gold 1ctw H-I/SI1-2 Diamond Victorian Locket

One electronically tested 14KT rose gold lady's die struck & assembled antique locket with a bright polish finish. The locket is Circa 1837-1901, the Victorian Period. The locket measures 30.16 mm in diameter. The front of the locket is set with 7 Old Mine cut Diamonds, bead set within 8-point hand engraved "Star Burst" mountings. The rear cover is hand engraved with the monogram, A M E, in flowing multi-line script letters. The locket has it's original bezel on the inside. The original oval wire bail measures 6.6 mm X 1.57 mm, with an inside measurement of 3.4 mm., and shows some wear at the ends of the oval shape. Condition is excellent.
