Seiko’s sports timing tradition inspires the next generation of Prospex Speedtimer
Inspired by the 1969 Speedtimer, the case shape and visual identity of this solar-powered Seiko Prospex Speedtimer remains faithful to the original, but the combination of hairline and smooth polishing on the bracelet and the curved sapphire glass bring it right up to date. New for 2026 comes a trio of updated Speedtimer dial executions, which retain the proportions and on-wrist footprint of this reference's best-selling predecessor.
Powered by Seiko's very own Caliber V192, this Speedtimer offers a 24-hour indicator, a time of day seconds hand, a 60-minute chronograph in a sub-dial at six o’clock and a power reserve function, which reflects the watch's ability to run autonomously for approximately six months when fully charged.
